Transitions, Part 1

First, the bad news: It appears that I have killt my recently transplanted hibiscus. This could be Miracle-Gro-related; however, I claim that I diluted the mixture properly, so it could just be further proof of my inability to nurture plants.

I am in mourning. Seriously.

: (

Now, the good news: Apparently, I am not so bad with already-established plants; for example, my daisy plant continues to thrive. In fact, another flower opened just today, sometime during the 7 a.m.-to-2 p.m. span in which I was at the news office.

Same flower. I do a lot of shooting from different angles and perspectives when I take a picture, whenever possible, and try to experiment with lighting and backgrounds and what-not. Today the wind was making it a little difficult to get non-blurry shots, especially on the first photo.

Oh, damn: I forgot to pay the bee its sitting fee!

Quote of the Day: “Stuff will get done, and what doesn’t get done, won’t.” — Me, to Mona

(Is it pretentious to quote oneself? What if I happen to be the most quotable person I know?)

: )

Oh, and Kevin Arnold’s rival pianist (heh, trying saying that 5 times, fast!) wasn’t named Arnold Hershmuller; it was Ronald Hershmuller. (Still not certain of the spelling on that last name.)

Here is a pretty nifty site for anything The Wonder Years-related.
